Clean Energy Revolution in Ulaanbaatar
At Ampere, we empower projects like Coal-to-Solar: Phase 1 to secure global recognition through rigorous validation and verification. Validating GHG emission reductions and SDG contributions ensures that transformative initiatives gain the credibility needed to drive a global transition through carbon markets.
In Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, communities face severe winter air pollution caused by the burning of raw coal. The project developer, URECA LLC, delivers a decisive clean energy response by installing solar photovoltaic systems, electric heaters, and improved insulation, while equipping residents with user manuals and digital tools to support adoption. Our role is to provide the independent assurance that allows the project to be internationally recognized and rewarded, securing the long-term financing and continued support these efforts depend on.
One of our senior auditors, Mohammad Hussein, led the field audit across multiple sites, verifying implementation across a representative sample of end-users to confirm measurable impact. He assessed the accuracy of the monitoring operations and validated the benefits claimed by the project as real, attributable outcomes.
We are proud to support projects that help forge a sustainable, low-carbon future on the path to Net Zero.
